tacrolimus FDA approved compound

Tacrolimus, also known as FK-506, is a potent immunosuppressant, neuroprotective and neuroregenerative, and T cell proliferation blocker. FK-506 disrupts calcineurin-mediated signal transduction in T lymphocytes and interacts with its FK-506-binding protein-12 (FKBP12).
