Flagging bad data

Data curves with problems such as contamination or bad data quality such as shaky curves can be flagged as use_data=no, so the data will not be used in large scale data retrieval and analysis. This can be done for an individual well or a whole plate.

Open a growth file

Open a growth file as described in the section: Open and view data from the database (DB)

Flag an individual well as use_data=no

1. Flag an individual well with bad data by click in the u button.
2. To save the change press save.

Flag an entire growth plate as use_data=no

Click on more_c tab.

More_c tab

Click on Plate_data_use button, a new window will open.

Change use_data from yes to no

1. Change from yes to no.
2. Click the update button.

Check data status in the Plate_View interface

1. Check if the u buttons turned red.
2. Click Save to save the changes to the DB.
